Anne Hilleary specializes in defending professional liability actions against doctors, nurses, therapists, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and other healthcare providers in all areas of medicine and healthcare. Ms. Hilleary litigates cases on behalf of clients including Stanford Hospital & Clinics, Sutter Health facilities Palo Alto Medical Foundation and Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, and works with professional liability companies including Sedgwick CMS, The Doctors Company, Beta Healthcare Group and MedPro.
Ms. Hilleary obtained a B.A. in history from Cornell University and a B.S. in nursing from Cornell University-New York Hospital School of Nursing. After working in critical care nursing Ms. Hilleary obtained her law degree from the UC-Berkeley (Boalt Hall) School of Law. Ms. Hilleary has been a medical malpractice defense attorney since 1995 and joined the firm in 2010.
Ms. Hilleary is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in California. She is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the Association of Defense Counsel for Northern California and Nevada.
